Nesting subtrees and a binary switch

I request these features with the amateur filter builder in mind, as i think it would go far to make filters cleaner and easier to keep under control.

1. Allow the user to minimise the components down to a title bar, much like a browser engine would. This could be done from either:
a. the individual component level
b. or the root of a component cluster

This way, once you have "finalised" a particular cluster of components, you can minimise the whole thing and clean up your work area. If anything, i would love to see this feature added to the Switch control (as a side note: being able to customise the number of switch inputs would be nice too). Then theres the other feature which ill admit has the potential to work against my first request but nonetheless...

2. an on/off control switch with an input and output that can be placed inbetween linked components. In short, the checkbox control with an input

I apologise if this has already been suggested and even if it has, it would bear repeating IMHO
