It would be a big help if FF had a "Save Display Render" option... As it stands, FF renders to display...re-renders to a saved image...then has to re-render the display image again... It would make alot of sense and save boatloads of time if FF cached the first rendered display image, allowed saving of that rendered image, and re-displayed that cached image after saving... Being able to bypass those two additional proceedural renders would make a "HUGE" difference in time and efficiency...

Nice idea, when you are browsing filters and change category's it will also render again and it would be nice to have a option to stop that from happening. On older computers these would definitely help a lot i think because as you say FF seems to re-render quite a lot.

Another simple idea but useful to have thing would be to add the option to save a filters preview thumbnails from the right click menu.

So you could right click the main filter preview, choose "Save Thumbnails" and save all the thumbnails to the selected folder. Also a single preview option would be useful so you right click on a filter and select "Save Thumbnail" etc to get a single presets image quickly.

YES! YES! this is true and I also do not like at all the re-rendering when you want to final save the result that you like after testing the settings.

Would LOVE MUCH that FF could ONLY render the result ONCE and then you can save it and without need to re-render it unless you change some setting or choose another preset.

This has already been requested before without sucess
