..is not producing a fully opaque/solid result at 100. It looks like there is some bleeding from the adjacent smudged areas. The problem is reduced when you lower the Max Trail parameter - but so is the wanted smudge offset effect.

But, it might be nice to keep transparency as an option. smile;)

smile:D What I meant to say was...how about adding a uniform transparency setting to the entire smudged surface at 100.
