Some suggestions for the Frame component:

Separate the Margin Width into Horizontal and Vertical Margin Width so we can easily create rectangular frames on square image sources. If GUI space permits, this could even be separated further into 4 margin width sliders for top, bottom, left right respectively. This might be too much, but it could also be done for the Frame Width, allowing for fully asymmetrical frames.

The corners slider produces perfectly rounded corners, but there could also be polygonal corners that approximate the perfect circular rounding. This way, a frame component could be used to create n-gon shapes as well (though probably only those with an even number of sides dividable by 4).

Introduce a third behaviour for frame components working on non-square images as seen below. The upper and middle show the frame component in regular and proportional modes on a non-square image. The lowest image shows the proposed third behaviour that would force the frame component to remain square and fit it to the shortest side of the image (could be called Square Fit or something).

I saw some filter that did some kind of ovals, I dunno if it used frames or what, but I was kind of wondering about that, I never really looked into it though obviously. It would cool to have other shapes with control like the circle-square deal with the frame module, I 2nd that idea. smile:D Hexagons and Octagons are probably possible now using 2-3 frames, having 1 or 2 of them angled and tied to the main one control-wise or something maybe ? Something to work on sometime I guess.

I'd like an option for the frame component to scale smaller & repeat when you use the "size, pixels" slider.

Of course I could just keep using tiles+kaleidoscope to make my circles...
