Very Basic Components

1. Coordinates gradient component.
This is the component that outputs coordinates value as a gradient.
Profile Gradient component is not able to be used for this purpose , Because outputs is limited to 0 to 1. I always use Free Gradient component with like below setting to get X-coordinate.

But this way is troublesome and not good for filter performance.

2. Clipping component.
This component is used to separate two graphics by grayscale input and threshold. And at each point, this always sample only one of the two graphics. This is same as Threshold component having no Smooth slider.
Of course, Threshold component can do same thing. But many users don't know that Threshold component can be used to clipping. And in filter gallery, there are many filters using Blend component in order to clip two graphics and decreasing filter speed.
This component is necessary for clarifying which component can clip graphics.
