----Let me first just say that I don't hardly know anything about Photoshop and the like, but I have not seen this kind of option in the version of Photoshop I have used. That said, I have no idea if this is already possible or not, and if not, exactly what way it would best work, it's just an idea that came to me.
----I was thinking it would be interesting to be able to loop a filter's effect back through itself, or "double" it. Ideally, this would be done simply by clicking a checkbox. It could also be done, per control/module, for instance a little checkbox by each control, that if you wanted the finished image run through just that module at that setting again, you'd just click that checkbox, or a combination of them.
----Not exactly groundbreaking, or necessarily useful for everyday stuff, but you never know what an idea like that could lead to, or maybe someone could expand on it, or simplify it for better use. Just an idea.

I have often wished I could run a picture through a filter twice (or more) immediately, without leaving FF. I hope someone can help you get that feature added.

----I like the more complex idea of having check boxes next to each controller (assuming the controls are labelled enough to let you know what yer choosing module/effect-wise) so you could run the image back through just part(s) of the filter, that's really where it differs. It's one of things that you'd almost have to do and experiment with, to know if it was worthwhile, like if it was a really useful feature or not.

the problems inherent with recursive looping like you're asking for, are pretty severe, i would think. nonetheless, i've often wished i could do it also. set how many iterations you want and let it loop.

the way around this is fairly simple, though. just copy and paste those branches you'd like to 'loop' and add a switch and run your stuff through the extra, duplicated branch. this might not work on all components, but it shld work on most.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
