In the new Filter Forge 4.0.7 (FF 4.0) inside the Filter Manager, when you create a new filter of your own, and you want to, for example, have a copy of this same filter in 3 different custom folders, how can you duplicate or copy that filter to others folders?

And what happens if you want to copy 10 filters to this same 3 folders, instead of only 1?

If you drag and drop it from one folder to another, it will MOVE it to the destiny folder and delete from the original folder.

If you right click over the icon of any filter inside a custom folder there is no way to COPY that filter and paste it on another folder.

Maybe there is a shortcut or something that I do not know on how to do this

The only way I see and find to do this is to edit the filter in the filter editor and then save the filter multiple times in different custom folders

Well, the way of saving from filter editor is good if what you want is to just copy and duplicate just and only ONE filter, but if you want to duplicate multiple filters , you must open each one and save them then one by one.

I have put this thread in the Feature Wishlist because I really think that there is no possible way to do it in FF 4.0.7 and would be good to have a copy and paste custom filters to different folders, OR perhaps even better, maybe a shortcut key that could be used with the drag and drop, and instead of moving it, it would make a copy.

SpaceRay, this can be done outside Filter Forge. Open Explorer/Finder and copy the .ffxml files in the appropriate custom storages.

OK, good suggestion, I will see how this way works, and how can be done.

Although I think that it would be good also to add this feature to the filter manager so you do not have to go outside of Filter Forge.
