I think it would be useful to have a Path or Strand component. The idea being that you could generate a 'strand' with either square or smooth turns which would either go from some random start point to a random end point the component generates -trying to avoid overlaps - or would seek to start at a random point and after some turns return to the same point forming a closed path. It would be useful to be able to set the minimum number of turnings or corners. (note red squares are just to indicate points though I guess an option to show/hide points might also be useful).

This could be useful for example to generate a 'solution' for a maze pattern and should have many other creative uses.

Thanks Indigo Ray, they are interesting and will play with them. smile:) I do think a Path or Strand component as I describe might still be useful as you can for example have a path that does not cross itself; it can be a path through a maze - the 'maze' filters on FF don't really have a solution but if you could blend in a path with a start and end as in my example you could create solvable mazes. There are other artistic posibilities too I think. smile:)
