Hybridizable presets is feature that might be of interest to users, especially in cases where the control parameters are not so linear or logical. Or even in cases where they just like 2 presets and cannot choose between them. I have an audio program called FL Studio, and it runs vsti plug-ins such as synthesizers and effects, and one of FL's built in *host* capabilites, it to combine 2 presets into a new one, by kind of mathematically interpolating between the settings. Granted software synths have a lot more presets than the usual 9 that FF filters do, which would allow for more variety. FF users are bound to make some of their own presets along the way, and this could be a tool to help them do that in some cases, a tool with a cool, hi-tech sounding name, "Preset Hybridizer". smile:)

Some controls only offer an "on or off". What would the half way point between those be?

----Well, if the whole filter is only on or off, then it's certainly easy enough to program without using the hybridizing feature ha-ha. Otherwise just give it random odds, one on/off control out of half a dozen or twice that many (much more detailed) controls will only add to the morphed inbetween 2 presets look ya want anyways. smile:)
