This may be a bit awkward to explain but i'll try:
In the presets tab when switching through the thumbnail previews,

behavior 1:
A single click will allow you to switch your selected preset of course, but if a re-render is currently happening on your screen, the render won't pause, and switch to your new selection, and start re-rendering (on your new selection, of course).

However,
behavior 2:

A double click will pause the preview render, and start your new selection rendering in the main window. (and of course your new selection is also now selected in the presets tab).

I would assume that behavior 2 is the desired way to go about it, but It would seem logical if the single click action yielded the same results.

works the same way for me, so you're not alone. i would have thought just changing to another pre-set would have started a new rendering, like in the 'settings' tab.

if the double click is the way that is wanted here, then a note below the pre-sets to double click would be good.

Agree, single-click Apply would be more consistent, but you won't be able to select presets to delete/update them etc.

It was there but we removed it later. Can't remember why. Added this to my list, will look into this again later.

thanks, vladimir.

one other thing about the presets. it took me forever to even find that little button where you 'add preset'. it's pretty inconspicuous and not labled at all. and, there's no menu item in the menu bar for it either. putting a label on that or even adding a menu item (or both) would be a big help to someone first using the program.
