i've been testing both the stand-alone capabilities and the plugin. in the stand-alone, when using a filter on an image, you have to first open an image from the menu. when you hit open you get a standard windows file opening type window with all the text names, but no thumbnails or previews of any kind. i have thousands of images on my computer and certainly dont know them all by name. if a window could be opened with at least a thumbnail view of my images this would be great and save me having to open them in psp or something else to see if that's the one i wanted or not.

Agree -- that would be very convenient. I hope Windows has standard "thumbnailed" file open dialogs. I'll add that to our list.

Craig -- I've just found out that the standard Open / Save dialog in WinXP (and probably in Windows2000) allows you to view thubmnails. In the right-click menu, choose Thumbnails instead of Icons or List.
