with the large number of filters we've got now, it's becoming increasingly more difficult to find any given filter. we've discussed being able to modify the tree as users, so i wont nag with that one again.

but recently i noticed it was easier to find filters in the download GUI than it was to find in the normal, user interface. the reason basically boils down to the amount of space each interface has to work within. in the download one, you've got the whole page, if you wanted, but on the main interface, you've only got that small little box in the upper left hand corner.

so, how about putting the user interface filter list on a completely different page than the main GUI? that would do two things: it would free up the whole left side for control listing and it would make it easier to find the filters we want to use, since they would have a whole page/window all to themselves.

Yep, we discussed this idea, but anyway it won't make it into 1.0 -- it's feature locked. We'll look into it later.

No -- we didn't discuss this publicly, that was an internal idea.
