There is no way to "eyedrop" colors fr om the image (or filter) you're working on
Please add a simple eyedropper that is active when a color picker dialog is open, which allow you to "pick" any color fr om the screen/interface. This is a very basic feature that is easy to implement: when a color dialog is open, if the user clicks anywhere on the screen except inside the color dialog interface, sample the pixel and show that color in the picker. The feature has been requested numerous times, here are some of the requests:
n.b. I am aware of the eye dropper tool inside the editor. This request is primarily about making the functionality available wh ere it is needed: front-end (i.e. not the editor) and when actually selecting colors (the editor eyedropper approach is somewhat unhandy workflow-wise) |

Special emphasis on screen. We'd want to be able to pick colors from any location of the screen, which may also be outside of the FF GUI. --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

"Everywhere" is definitely the nice option - then it will work like in Photoshop: when a color picker dialog is open and you click and hold down the button, you can "eyedrop" anywhere. Ofcourse the eyedrop cursor is only active inside the Photoshop interface, but if you hold down the button and move outside the Photoshop interface you can sample from any application on any screen |

I totally agree that it would be really useful, helpful, time saving to be able to pick a color from the image you are editing and applying a filter while inside the color picker of a color control Now as it is there is a eyedropper color picker JUST ONLY to preview the RGB values, but there is no way to COPY these values to the color picker. So now the only way is to write the values somewhere and then copy manually them in color picker Or be able to use the eyedropper color picker while the color picker of color control is open Please this would be a great thing to have Thanks |
