I would like to be able to lock Seamless tiling in the same
manner as all the other parameters are locked. |

Locks are for randomization. They prevent parameters from changing when you click "next variant". However, notice that the Seamless Tiling checkbox never changes when you do that. It isn't affected by randomization.

Also, you can turn Seamless tiling on or off in the filter overrides settings.

Perhaps a master NO Seamless Tiling preference so that when clicking on a preset I do not have to rush to settings to turn it off. It is not fun to constantly go to Settings to turn off the Seamless Tiling. In other words a Never Perform Seamless Tiling preference.

I think I understand what is happening, you mean that the seamless tiling is activated when you click on a preset, and this is only because the preset is already saved with it activated - Option 1 - You can uncheck the seamless tiling and then upd ate the preset and so you save it without the seamless tiling - Option 2 - If you can´t upd ate it because is a factory preset (the one that comes built-in from a downloaded filter), you can add a new preset without the seamless tiling - Option 3 - If you do not want to add an additional prese t in option 2, then you can make a copy of the filter, and then all the factory prese t are deactivated and you can be able to update them there is more information on this thread (specially on my own last post) Please tell me how to Turn Off Tiling and also this related ones Lock seamless tiling In 2006 there was this thread Force Seamless Tiling Option |

In more detail:
Edit filter, select Filter>Overrides and Disable Seamless Tiling. Save filter (with new name if you want). Seamless tiling will be turned off for all the presets and you won't even be able to turn it on for this filter. The new version of the filter will be in "My filters." |
