Sorry if this exists already, but I haven't found it in FF or searching the forums.
I would like to have a slider, and be able to do some math on the results of that slider.
Example: I'm making a brick filter that has a vertical running bond across the top. I want to allow the user to adjust the brick counts. In order to do this I have to alter my vertical running bond mask according to the "Repeat V" value. This won't be a 1:1 value change. It would require some type of math to achieve. If I don't do this I start showing partial bricks across the top...not good.
Is this possible?

Lords8n, If you don't know about Remapping:
You can get different ratios by checking the "use remapping" in the controller/slider box. Then connect it to the "Repeat V" parameter and whatever other parameter you want. If you click on the tiny box that appears at the connection, you can adjust the min and max values to get different ratios between the parameters....
But to add to this thought, one possible wish-list idea might be:
To be able to have a changing ratio -- where 0 to 10 on the slider the ratio between two parameters can increase by x. Then 10 through 80 the ratio can remain constant, then 80 through 90 the parameter decreases by y.
I'm not sure if this is currently doable in FF. (I doubt I'd use this much, but it could help solve a problem with masking an image that has a shrink-zoom...)
I also noticed that when I connect a slider to a switch, I can't adjust the slider's range values to correspond to specific sources. (E.g. 0 to 10 switches source1 on, then 10 to 12 swithces source2, then 12 to 30 switches source3).
Again, probably not something I'd use often (if ever), and maybe it even oculd be (painfully) done with cascading swithces... but just thought I'd give it a mention.
