Currently, AFAIK there is no way to quickly reset a specific slider to its default value. For example: Resetting the Bomber's Offset H back to zero requires LMB-clicking and manually 'zeroing out' its numeric entry field.
In Nuke, there is a neat feature that allows you to quickly reset a slider to its default value by CTRL-LMB-clicking anywhere on the slider's bar (not the slider itself), which is a much faster and more convenient way to do a reset. Alternatively, CTRL-LMB-clicking a slider's name could reset it also, as well as RMB-clicking on the slider and selecting 'Reset' from its pop-up menu. --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

I like the idea of using modifier keys - when I get my hands on new software I typically try all kinds of combinations, clicking left and right mouse buttons all over the UI, once holding down "alt", "ctrl" or "shift" - and sometimes I am positively surprised.
IMO such "hidden" features do no harm, because for those who don't know the feature, they will just not use it. It is not fundamentally changing a workflow. |
