Here's a few things I found might be useful.

1) Groups: The ability to group a branch of objects so they can be more logically viewed, move, and handled. Having more than 50 objects in several branches becomes cluttered and difficult to manage.

1b) Group Extended: Have the ability to affect a groups profile, etc... And a result plug off of an entire group.

2) Math: I know I posted this earlier in the form of a direct issue I was having, but I feel having a way to put a formula into the ReMapping of a control would be advantageous. In some instances I have found I want to affect a number linearly to one object, but on a formula curve to another at the same time.

So there you have it!
I'll hit back with anything else I can think of as the ideas arise.

Yes, already planned.

Math for controls has been requested before, and is already on our list. Math for images is already planned.

What do you mean under the group's profile?

I was thinking that you could plug in a profile object to affect an entire group.
I'm kind of an amateur at this so I don't know if i'm splaining right.

vlad, i think he means something like, make a selection of a 'group' of components and stick a node on the selection itself, not on any given component within, and then plug something into that selection node. it would have a global effect on all components within the group.... i think smile:)
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Yes, that's it.
Nodes on both sides though.
All I could think of that would be viable with my limited knowledge is one of those blue input nodes that I often connect curves to.
The output node would be a simple result node maybe.

You mean the curve components?

If yes, what do you mean under 'affecting an entire group'? You can plug an entire subtree into Tone Curve component and feed a single curve into it. Is that what you want to do?

Also, we would understand each other better if you used our official terminology for things -- components, inputs, outputs, connections, etc. It can be found here:

Sorry I took so long to reply here.

Yes, I do mean a curve component input connection into the group with a result output connection out of the group.
