how about a half dozen more kaleidoscope modes? easy to ask for, aren't they
 If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Do you mean add more options than the 4 already available?
What other half dozen do you suggest? How would they be? Could you give more information of your request? I know that there is a kaleidoscope software that have many options available, but do not remember now what |

Don't forget that Rachel Duim made filters for all 18 wallpaper groups!
And Jhantares has kaleidoscopes and mandalas galore. Plus, the kaleidoscope component just got more powerful with FF7. |

there are more than 4 kaleid modes, spaceray. so, not sure what you're talking about. and, I'm not suggesting specific modes, just that there seems like there could be more, perhaps based on geometric shapes or even more flexible, based on user inputted data like pictures.
and indigo, all of that is fine, but it doesn't really speak to what I'm talking about here. and thanks for pointing out the stuff about FF7
I think there are seven "mode" positions on the kaleidoscope component. I simply want more of those. by Christmas would be nice  If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

If we do not understand what you mean and do not know what you want, how can FF developers can give you what you want? It would be more helpful and useful if you explain more and give some examples
I agree with you that there are 7 modes, but sorry that I counted 4 different ones, and not counting the variations In the Kaleidoscope component there are Square Triangle Rhomb Hexagon So is 4 different that then are 3 variations, 2 triangles and 3 Rhombs So you mean that you want more different geometric shapes added additional of these |

I totally agree with you, and I also would like that the built-in kaleidoscope could have more modes with other different shapes, and be expanded. as you can see I have made already some related threads before long time ago More different seamless tiling options other than ONLY square tiling ? How FF Kaleidoscope component works? How creates the output given? Kaleidoscope Effects in 2D and also in 3D with 3D models in 3D world!! Symmetrical Art, Mirrored Art, Reflection Art and Kaleidoscope Art |
