this is just a small thing, but somewhat annoying when i need it. if i add a filter by downloading a file directly off the forum, instead of the library, and i've already got FF open and running, there is no way to call up this new filter without closing FF and restarting it.
it would be nice to have a way to get FF to re-look at the files listed in 'my filters' without having to close and re-open FF. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

After you double-click a filter, it reloads the storage. Or do you copy them into My Filters manually? |

i was talking about when i load one manually off the web site here. there is no refresh or way to get that new one to show up in the my filters list without exiting the program and re-starting it.

If you load it by 'executing' it (as opposed by copying it into My Filters folder), the list refreshes immediately after it's loaded.

Kraellin, when you load a filter from the forums, choose 'Open with Filter Forge' when your browser asks you what to do with the file. That should do the trick...

Just click it and choose 'Open in Filter Forge'. It will be copied and loaded automatically. |

Hi Craig
I did some tests. Open FF Plug-In Download a filter to the desktop Double click the filter on the desktop Filter Forge will open the filter AND update the library AND make a copy of the filter and move it to 'my filters folder' So you can then just delete the filter on the desktop. That’s good. ![]() Ken. |

You don't need to do this -- just choose 'Open in FF' when the browser asks you to Open or Save to Disk. |
