Please guys, consider it in the next update. Include an option to relocate the data storage of MyFilters or the all filters library. I'd like to be able to set MyFilters or the all library in a diferent place instead of the fixed one. I mean, I use to have one HD for the System and other for the Data. Yesterday I had to format my System HD and when the computer crashed I had no time to back-up the MyFilters that is this "hidden" fixed place. So, the result was that I've lost all my filters that were in the building stage. The only ones I'll get to rescue are those I've sent to the library. So, I need to download the entire library again and say good bye to all standed by creations.
Please FF team, add this feature. Thanks in advance. |

lucato,
there is a thread that talks about moving stuff out of the 'documents and settings' area. if i remember correctly, it can be done. some of the FF team responded to me when i was having similar difficulties with my computer. sorry, i dont recall where the thread is, but it's around here somewhere. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Yes, +1 Vote, i think FF will be much easier if it has some sort of filter/folder system put in, what i think would be great is -
The abillity to add and remove folders (remove with confirm box rather than sudden delete) The option to move a folder up or down, maybe little buttons that re-arange acording to most filters and by name, so folders starting with A,B,C ect all in order. The option to right click rename a folder, also filters rather than having to go into the editor, also maybe description ect. The option to copy and paste a filter (auto renaming it something like) filter002 ect which could then be easily renamed to something more suitable. Thats my thoughts on what would make the folder system much better, feel free to add to my list ![]() |
