On the main interface there should be a field where you can do a quick search of filters already downloaded, and an option to direct that search to the online library if you didn't find what you want.

i was looking for this too, uber.

i'd also like to see the search display able to show its results in visual form, like you see the filters listed in the library. currently, if you go to thumbnail view you get a little green and white icon with the library number on it.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

This could be nice.
I normally just use the web site to search for filters and then click "Open in Filter Forge". (I've noticed that the when I find the filter in the library it doesn't say which category it's under so I can't look in my FF for it. But it seems easier to just open it there anyway.)

the category shows at the top of the page in a file tree manner.
