I have seen that the good and useful FF 9 notes component have a size limit and you can not enlarge it too much, and this is really not a problem at all, as it is really big enough to explain very much whatever you may need

The only problem I see is that the note is always outside of the components and if you want to make a reference to a whole group of components you would need to specify which components are these.

What I am suggesting and had the possible idea that the notes component could be used to make and enclose a group of components and so would be easier to explain “These components that are inside this note are making this specific task” and would be easier to see it graphically

For this it would be needed that the notes component could be used in the BACKGROUND of the FF components and not OVER other components as it is done now, although I do not know if this would be possible.

I am only suggesting to be able to resize the notes larger ONLY IF it would be posssible for the note component to be used in the background of the components

I can make a mockup of what I mean if it is needed

Thanks

Yes, exactly, you are right, BUT I do not suggest to make it in such great detail and features as you have shown, do not need to have title or any kind of frame, JUST ONLY be able to put it on the background of the elements and resize it as it would be needed to include all the related FF elements

The big problem of the GROUPS component is that is NOT always possible to make a group with the FF elements that you may want as it depends on some things, so this can´t be used to make groups of whatever group of components as I suggest, and also the problem with groups component is that you have to go inside of each group to see the components of each group and you can only see groups one by one

I have found here a much better example of what I am suggesting using the Substance Designer, where you can see clearly how all the nodes of the filter are cleanly and easily organised in groups with a text and so it is very easy to understand and see what part of the filter does and how it works

I think that this would be really very useful and interesting to have in FF

Is not needed to make it with different colors if this makes this more complex.

and another one

Would be really good and great if this could be possible to add in FF 10 as it would help much explain and organise the filter and understand what each part ( or the important parts) of the filter do
