It would be a faster and timesaving handling inside the filter editor,
if we could save groups as custom groups to a library for later reuse.

Image Example: it would be handy if we could drag and drop custom groups (without controlls) from a library

Just simple, but not simpler. (A.E)

Yes, I agree that it would be really great idea, and this has been already suggested since many years ago in FF 4.0, and was supossed to be the next step after adding the groups feature, so you could save that groups as components and reuse them later, but this never happened in all these years and we are already 6 versions later in FF 10.

The only way avaialable now is that you open the filter that contains that group and you copy all the group with all the controls and then paste it in the filter that you need to use it.

As far as I know you can not save the custom groups without the controls components because they are needed for it to work.

@SpaceRay:
You can create a filter pipline with several controls and pack it to a single group without connected group controls.

The idea was: when saving a custom group, than only with the controls inside.
When dragging a custom group into the editor, than we have 2 options:
1. only use the group result
2. or connect new controls only to the needed group slot
-> the same control terms are used
Just simple, but not simpler. (A.E)
