as i was downloading filters just now, it occurred to me that it would be nice to mark some of these as favorites now, before i downloaded them, but there was no way that i could find to do this.

so, the simple request is, allow that to happen while still in the downloads area.

the longer request would involve being able to completely sort filters how i wanted while still in the downloads area.

added to that would be an option to NOT automatically leave the downloads area when all filters requested are downloaded, so one could sort AFTER one had downloaded the filters.

Are you talking about the web library or the built-in browser?

vlad,

i always download from the built in function within FF, 'download more filters', the one you do from within FF (unless i'm picking up something from the forums here). so, that's what i was referring to. it's much easier to sort thing from the 'download more filters' area where you can SEE the filters all together, than once they are in your FF categories. i often dont even know where to start to look for a given filter and end up having to manually look through many categories. if i could mark some while still in 'download more filters', i'd then be able to find those i really want to look at now much easier.

the way i view the sorting and handling of downloaded filters is, you guys arrange them how you want them on the web site. make your own categories and do whatever. but in FF, i want to be able to sort and arrange how i want them. and with the library growing so large these days, that becomes even more important to me. but, this is a whole other topic, so, i'll leave this part for another topic.
