It would be nice if the forum had the ability to:
1. Have a button I can push that shows me a unified list of all threads with new messages, from which I can hyperlink to the first new message in the actual thread. This would be similar to the way vBulletin and pspBB do it.
2. Allow members to subscribe to any thread, and receive email notices. Allow members to unsubscribe. Sort of like vBulletin.

I think this already exists. See the "Subscribe to This Topic" link.

FWIW, I finally found an RSS reader that makes RSS reading very easy. It's called Omea Reader, and it's free. Works great on this forum, and the other RSS feeds here.

Yes, it seems well ahead of many others. One thing I would welcome in the world of RSS is the ability understand what a message is. IOW, find messages instead of only understanding entire threads. NNTP has understood messages for years, and it should not be that hard for RSS to do it.

I'd like that the navigation pages located on the very bottom would be moved right after to the end of the posts before the reply form and the top and bottom navigation pages would be on the right side instead of the left side.
