Insert nodes and mute/passthrough nodes

Hi guys! I think it would be great if you could perhaps right click on a node and choose "ignore" (or mute, or passthrough etc) so that you can compare the result with or without that link in the chain.

Also, it would be cool if you could drag a node over a 'noodle-thing' connecting two nodes and have the node inserted into the chain. If the connection wasn't so straight forward (ie the inserted node has multiple inputs/outputs) it could 'grey out' the node until you click on the property/attributes of the node you want to use.

Hmm that got a bit complicated sounding but hopefully you get the idea?

1) Well, perhaps it could go like this:

Step a) Right click on the node

If the node has only 1 input:

Step b) Select 'Passthrough' from the context menu and it will send that input straight through to the next node upstream.

If the node has multiple inputs:

Step b) Hover the mouse over the 'Passthrough' option and choose an input to pass on, from a sub menu. That sub menu could have an option like 'void' at the end of the list which means black/0.
