The 'All filters by this author' page could be designed similar to the way the filter library presents filters with its 'Featured', 'Popular', 'Recent' and 'All Filters by Category' tabs. It would have four tabs that follow this scheme and present an authors filters sorted by editor's picks (Featured tab), Usage Rank (Popular tab), submission date (Recent tab), plus a page that displays all filters alphabetically (All Filters tab). One could also imagine a 'Snippet' tab that collects all snippets.

Additionally, it would be nice to have an Author Data tab that collects all sorts of relevant statistics about an author, like Total No. of Filters, No. of Featured Filters, No. of Rewards, No. of High Usage Rank Filters, No. of Snippets, 'Quality Ratio', etc.

Yes, the page could be greatly improved, I agree. It can also have functions like 'Add This Author to Favorite Authors' or 'Ignore Filters by This Author'.

There could also be a button on the author page to conveniently 'Download All Filters By This Author'. smile;) smile:D

Good idea, seriously. We can generate an .ffcmd that loads multiple filters.

The idea of having account-specific options for the Filter Library sounds great, and 'personalizing' it with favorites and ignore lists seems like an excellent way of managing the growing complexity. Would be neat if one could be alerted automatically to a favorite authors brand-new filter, a new editors pick or a filter turned popular upon logging into the site.

After re-installing FF on my home machine recently, following a complete system wipe, I - again - found myself wishing for this.

Had to go through each and every one of my filters and download them again manually! smile;) smile:D

Hey Dilla, you don't have to redownload your filters when you go to a new HD. I assume you know how to 'Locate This File' on your filters, right? Select all of them and put them on a thumb drive and put them in the same place on the new HD. I did it, and it worked perfectly. smile:)

Sticking to the point: +1 Million Gazillion. Hah.

Bump. Any news here?

After having migrated my FF install to a new machine recently, I really would have loved to conveniently 'batch-download' all filters by certain beloved authors.

An online "Filters I like" list would also be spectacular for downloading all your beloved filters at once.
