On thing that might be of use (as I recently foud out), might be a way to add a post-it-note type of message into the filter-editing section.
I was just working on (what I would consider) complicated filter, with many subsections. But after a few days I would forget exactly what it was I had certain parts set up to do. If we could simply posts notes in the various section it might help making the understanding of the different chains we make more understandable. Waddya think? Rawn |

Sounds very useful to be able to annotate your creations. Kinda like commenting code.

Yes this has been suggested in the past. What I'm doing until its added is use a disconnected checker control. Just replace the name with a short note.

Nice suggestion. Maybe instead of placing post-its each component would have its own memo field and an option when we save the final filter to keep or not all memos in the file.

i suppose it's inevitable that folks are going to post suggestions already made (and questions already asked), but it might behoove you guys to go read some of the back posts. there's a LOT of stuff back there from the 'early' days. might save you some hassles and give you some ideas to boot. not all of the stuff is listed in the wiki wishlist.
and just to save you some time, the next inevitable question/suggestion is, pushpins. go read! ![]() If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
