Would be sweet, as apparently we can't achieve true perspective distortion with offsets.



Also, this component should make noises extend seamlessly on the perspective plane as shown below (with the 'bright' square being the original source input). Of course, as demonstrated below, the component itself would produce non-seamless output...

+2 I still think that FF should ditch the library auto-tile so things like this can be accurately represented by the library presets.....but I'm not going to get into that again smile:D smile;)

That's the point about nonseamless components: they will automatically be represented correctly, as they can never be seamlessly tiled. The same goes for other components that exist already (like the offset in certain cases), which break seamlessness even with seamless turned on.

As for the library and seamlessness, we already successfully filed that discussion elsewhere... smile;)

if i remember correctly, you plug a profile gradient into the horizontal or vertical node on an offset to get that perspective and yes, that one is definitely one that shld be on its own component. we could do some interesting isometrics, including anaglyphs and pushpins and anaglyph pushpins... lol. smile:)
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

yep! i didnt read the whole thing, CF, but enough to know it wasnt something i was going to try to tackle at the moment smile;) but you're right smile:)
