Up-Down Lighting Orientation

I might be missing something, but for the lighting orientation, it seems I can only rotate the lighting image left and right. This makes it really difficult (and often impossible) to get the lighting the way I want it. It would be really nice to have full rotation control. Maybe left click for left-right and right click for up-down / full control.

if you're referring to the HDR globe, yes, it only goes left and right. that also is one of my wish list items, full global movement.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Yes, that's what I'm referring to. I'm curious if there was a technical reason for this or if it was just done to simplify the user interface.

There is a technical reason for this (primarily performance-related), but it almost sure it will be addressed in a future version.

Up-Down lighting control would be cool for sure. smile:) And hey, it sure sounds like there's a ton of plans for the next version of FF, can you give us even a hint when that beta might hit our screens ? smile:D

He said "A future version" not the next version. smile;) I'm sure they have lots of plans but new features will probably trickle in slowly with each release.
