was just wondering if something like an 'if-then' type component could be devised.
if imported image has r=0 g=0 b=0 then goto or do such and such. could lots of possibilites on the conditions here and would add some interesting variables. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I believe this was already requested as 'Conditional Switch' and 'Per-Pixel-Switch'. See the Feature WIshlist archive...

well, this was intended as more than i ever saw stated in the conditional switch idea and i dont even recall the per-pixel one. but then, i dont recall what day it is that often either; so, ok
![]() the idea behind this if-then thing was that FF would read the pixels and then be able to branch based on the read and user conditions/controls/parameters. yeah, that does sound similar now that i write it out further. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

There are workarounds for this. (I'll make you snippet if you want one)

thanks, uber. it's ok. dont need the snippet. i know you can do branching with threshold, set alpha and so on. it just doesnt seem as elegant as what was in my head when i posted this request
