smile:) I have been working with the intslider alot with the tile component, and I have to say I hate it. I want to be able to have it start above 1 without have to do re-mapping steps. Also, I have a filter I am working on that absolutley does not work if the repeat is an even number, so I would love to be able to have a slider start only hit odd numbers. Start at 1, go to 3, 5, 7, 9, ect. I am aware of the remapping function; however, it does not give the ability to choose only odd numbers.

There may be a way around this problem; however, I am not aware of it: and if there is no solution to my predicament I would love to see a change in FF's intslider. smile:)

i think we had this discussion a while back. if i remember correctly, it was to be able to increment the sliders in general to how we wanted them to count. for instance, you can make intsliders go up to something like 9999, but when you move it one space it will jump by something like 75 at a time. what if you wanted the 9999 but wanted to move it by 5 or 10 at a time.

so, your temp solution might be to find that high limit that would move the slider by 3 or 5 instead of an even number. like, if you set the high limit to 33 or 55 would one tick of the slider move it by 3 or 5?

I am sorry but I have tried this, it is easy to make it move at 3 at a time, but 3 times 2 is still even.

3, 6, 9, 12, 15... So the only way to keep it odd is to start at an odd number and move by an even number; preferablly start at 1 and move by two; thus getting 1,3,5,7,9,ect. But as of right now you can't do that with intslider.

ah, you're right smile:)

yes, would be nice to be able to increment based on another setting.

So I was desparate to get this filter working, and by random chance I did a repeated line and found that with curves the intsliders works in such a way that you can start at one and go up by even numbers. So I was able to find a solution to my filter; however, it was very unintuitive and I would still like to see a way to get odd numbers off of a intslider on the tile component. Maybe just have the intslider work the same on the tile component as it does for the curve component.
