When I started using Filter Forge I was expecting to find a generic curve editor amongst the curve components. Curve editing is not an uncommon task amongst Photoshop users and it strikes me as odd that it is not included.

In some cases it is very difficult to get just the right curve shape based on a combination of curve and curve operations. It is also not very intuitive creating complex curves in this manner and given that one of Filter Forge's principles is ease of use this seems like a natural addition.

Yes, a bezier curve editor is on our long-term plans. However, it demands a serious redesign of Filter Forge's internals, and I wouldn't expect that soon.

memesphere,

you can get just about any type of curve you want if you use 'curve ops', 'curves'and 'tone curve' components together. and the special ones in curve ops are 'blend', 'transition' and 'math', i think. the biggest problem with curves and curve ops is the limit on how many controls you can have in any given filter. some of those components can take several controls all by themselves.
