one can import an image into FF currently, but sometimes i'd like to get rid of it again and just have the filter with no background image present. thus, i need a way to unload a loaded image without having to kill and reboot FF.

Yes, we are working on a "File > New" menu item that would let you create a blank picture without restarting FF. However, that would work only in the stand-alone version (it will be grayed out when working under Photoshop).

- Hi Vlad, are you guys working on "File > Open" too? I mean, to get to open ffxml files. When I double click on a ffxml that I got from forums for example, It says "Cannot run Filter Forge - The program is already running". So, I need to close FF to get to open It up or I need to put files into 'My Filters' folder. Would be helpful to get to open up these files also by dragging them from the explorer into FF too. Would be cool to get to open up ffxml files without being in the gallery through 'File> Open'.

Cheers,
Lucato.

We can't simply open it in the currently running copy of FF because it may be running under Photoshop. We have some ideas regarding this, but they are currently on low priority.
