Saving the current preview as the next Original image

this is a fairly low priority item, but thought i'd mention it.

sometimes, when working with one filter, i'd like to be able to see what the current image and preview would look like with a different filter loaded and its effects applied to the last one. in other words, load image A, load filter 1 and you see a certain preview. now, if you could now keep that preview as the original image and load another filter so that you could see the effects of filter 2 on the last preview, that would be slick.

i know you can simply save your image A with filter 1's effects applied to it and reload it as the original image, but it would be nice if you could just save that one step in the process.
