1: A function/parameter for opacity would be really helpfull even if it was just for monitering prior to rendering so that one could guestimate how the rendered image would look when blended with the source image.
2: Cache rendered versions of different filters temporarily so that one could return to a previously rendered image without waiting for the software to redraw. 3: Save rendered image as a layer when closing filter window. 4: Modify the GUI with global parameters that allow all filters have the ability to interact with the shape/contours of the image rather than masking over them. 5: Free software for people who contribute unique ideas that get implemented into Filter Forge! ![]() |

#5 was done during the beta program. you need to get in on that when and if the mac version goes beta or when the next big pc version goes beta

Well, I heard there was a closed beta before it turned public in may 2006. Maybe that will be so again for v2.0 ...
