I'd like it that when filters get removed from the FF library and placed into the "My Filters" folder, that those filters get specifically named.
I'm guessing that a least two of my filters were removed from the library(?), because when I went to try to use them through my slimmed down "Favorites" folder they were no longer there. And when I tried to re-download them from the online library (using the nice, online search capabilities), they wouldn't download.
This caused a bit of confusion -- where I had to finally conclude that my desired filters were no longer available through my "Favorites" folder or through the FF library --- and so I'd have to search my mega-overloaded folder named "My filters" for them.
For background information purposes:
The first filter (which I'm guessing was removed) had a "High Usage" rating.
And the second (removed?) filter used an outliner effect that used the Refraction component (where no other "outliner" FF filter used that effect) and I preferred it, with it's colorizations and blending modes over similar previous filters -- i.e. it had something unique about it's effect that I preferred... (I'm just stating my case of why I submitted it.)
(I'm also thinking...) if my filters were removed because they were too similar to other filters, then that's cool -- they were only variations on a theme...
Still, with my work schedule, I only have a very limited time to experiment with Photoshop and FF; so when I find that I can't find what I want when I want it -- it's kind of annoying. So, my essential point here is: I think it would be nice to know when a "Favorites" filter gets removed (rather than me having to go through some rigmarole of trying to figure out what happenned).
(And, yeah, of course, it's disheartening to see my own filters getting removed from the library (if that's what happened) -- but I realize, FF has a huge library, and I'm sure it's got to try to slim itself down somehow.
