I was just thinking that offering "lifetime Update Editions" of the program might be a good idea.....like "Basic Edition with Lifetime Updates"....."Standard Edition with Lifetime Updates".....and "Pro Edition with Lifetime Updates".....  Steve

That might be more attractive to people once V2 is out, at least then they can say oh, I coulda saved $99 or whatever the upgrade price is.

We already have three editions. If we add more, people will get confused about choosing among them. Personally, I hate it when instead of simply saying "red bull please" I have to specify something like "small dark-blue non-cola red bull please". I used to agree with Ries and Trout about keeping the brand focused and avoiding blurring it with editions, but editions do contribute to the bottom line, so we added three of them. However, I'd like to keep the number of editions as it is.
