i've tried several times to blend the outer edge of 'contents' with the inner edge of 'inner frames' to make a smooth transition between the two. this is nearly impossible. i'd love to see a 'feathering' aspect between those two areas and also feathering between 'margins' and 'outer frame', such that we could easily transition and slightly overlay and effect in one to another. this would open up a LOT of effects.

Wouldn't you be able to do that by using two frames components with two different margin widths, and feed your content image into the content and inner frame of the second one, and the first frame into the margins and outer frame of the second one?

i think i tried something like a while back in my frame forge filter, but was never happy with it, 3D. i can also completely remove the margins and set the frame control all the way to the right, but again, not quite what i'm looking for, since there is still a funky gradient between the two frame gradients. i may try a profile gradient mixed in there somehow, but i dont like using them on effect filters because of the non-square issue.

i think what i'd like is something like if the margins, outer frame and inner frame were all sort of one gradient, smoothing down to the contents and blending in there as well. the controls for all those would simply change the rate of transition in their respective areas. that make sense?
