Not sure if needed in PhotoShop becaue I don't use it - but in other programs and in stand-alone mode, an eye-dropper in the color picker/s under the Settings tab would be very useful.

I often want to sample colours from the original image.

After reading this I remembered that I often want to use a same color.
When I make a filter and arrive at the last stage, I connect the color inputs, but I never get the same color as I already had.
So I love to have a save color option. smile:)

Ah smile:blush:

Can you tell me how to copy a color from a component to a controller?
Because the ctrl C & V doesn't work for me.

Right click on the color in the options (the teal color for example). You should see a Copy Color and a Paste Color. smile:)
Roses are #FF0000
Violets are #0000FF
All my base are belong to you.

Thanks Betis,

I see the copy color and paste color.
But I'm afraid that I'm doing something wrong because I can't copy from the component to the controller.
I did manage to copy the controller itself.

Very embarrassed. smile:blush:

hi apple,

it is as betis said. just remember that you also have to right click over where you wish to paste in order to paste the color into the new component.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

1: Right Click on the color you wish to copy, and click on Copy Color.
2: Select the control node.
3: Right click on the color and click Paste Color.
4: Voila!

Thank you all!

I realize what went wrong, I tried to paste in the selected floating color controller instead of the info box at the left.

I'm really pleased. smile:ff:

Wow. I never knew this. I always used to copy the HSB numbers or eyeball it. What else can I right-click? smile:D
