Tying in with the heavily requested bomber feature, one way to make this easier (and obviously would be good in things other than bombers as well) would be another control type: Source Image. It would work just like the Image component under External, but this way you could simulate layers and multiple external inputs. I don't know how FF works, so prove me wrong when I say this, but I don't think it would be difficult to implement especially if you already have an external image component. Roses are #FF0000

yes, i've asked for this before. 'image-1', 'image-2', 'image-3', etc. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

hehe, hell if i remember. it shld be in the wishlist, though. i suppose there's nothing wrong with folks asking for the same things. it tells FF how much a thing is needed and wanted, but oddly, i always feel compelled to remind someone that the thing has already been requested. lol. oh well. it's a good idea regardless If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I see what you mean. Besides, this is slightly different, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you want to have multiple sources too, but select them from the File menu, whereas I want them to be controls along with sliders, which I think you understand. Roses are #FF0000

Too bad it's only you and me in this discussion, so really the topic isn't going anywhere.

Would be so handy to use with bombers, although it has SO much potential for being used else where. Just imagine things that can happen with blending multiple sources of images. Lots of possibilities. Filter Forge has so much possibility but then its sometimes restricted to the bounds of the workings of the software.
Of course loading images would be just manually done? Or can we even get a bit more creative and load layers as well? I'm guessing it just takes a bit of thought to do this right.
Anyway yes this to me is 100% must. It's a big step to making a difference in the software as well.

It would be similar to uploading an image to here on the forums, where there's a browse button and an address bar next to it. You could load all the basic image types, maybe along with Photoshop files if the FF team decides to be edgy. Roses are #FF0000

Hey, then you wouldn't even need the selection component!
