I'd really like a slider on the 'Lighting' tab to control the angle of the light.
![]() Here's a simple little clip... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Vf-lfAgBRQ When I do things like that though, I have to kinda guess as I move the lighting around. A slider or something would be great. |

+1 it would help greatly for consistency between filters too.

Do you mean "angle" as in dragging the sphere left and right? I always thought it was fun to spin it around.

Yup... I like being able to spin it, but really want a slider too for when I need it more precise. |

the slider idea is an interesting twist on this. i requested full axis swiveling, as if it were a total ball suspended and you could rotate it on any axis. so, that part is on the wish list, i think. how would you increment the slider and would you want the little tab things at the ends to increment singly?
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

A simple 'Angle' slider would work if the lighting can only be adjusted horizontally.
Doesn't really matter if it's 0-100 or 0-360, though I think I'd prefer values from 0-360 (maybe that could even be an option). If full axis swiveling is implemented 2 sliders might be better (one H, one V). |

This (and some more stuff along these lines) is planned for 2.0, but currently it's on low priority.
