Sometimes I want to use several FF filters in a row on one layer in Photoshop. As it is now, each time I apply a new filter I have to relaunch FF...and it takes a bit of time to do this as it bounces in my dock before it opens. (It's different from other Photoshop plugins that aren't separate applications and come up more quickly in Photoshop)

For example purposes, let's say I want to make a metallic rocky texture, and then put a flower on top of it, then add a metallic spehrical gemstone in the center of the flower, and then make a kaleidoscopic pattern from that. Those 4 filters are all available in FF, but I have to apply each of them separately, causing 4 different relaunches of FF...lots of bouncing in the dock (sorry to alienate windows users, but mac users will know what I mean)

Would there be a way to apply those filters successively in FF to the same Photoshop layer, all without leaving the FF interface until all the filters have been applied?

I remember a program called Dreamsuite by AutoFX from about 10 years ago that allowed one to do this. It was similar to FF in that it sort of worked as a standalone application, but allowed you to apply effect after effect without leaving its interface. It was also very buggy and didn't work well with Mac at the time and way too slow.
