Hi KGtheway2B
I know I can do the backup that way, but is good to think the standard user doesn't like to use the OS to do handmade backups (that's why browsers are adding that cool feature right now).
Cropping would be something like Photoshop's Crop tool, but much easier. In Photoshop you create that box, double click in the middle and get the new picture. Here, it could be something like you have the Source to connect other nodes to, and then 4 options: Top, Bottom, Left and Right. By default all would be at "0", what would mean "no cropping action", and the values could be a percentage. If you move Top to 10%, that'd mean the top 10% of what is plugged to this node would disappear, leaving the image a bit stretched horizontally. If I ask for this, is because lots of times when you create something you want to repeat, the result of mixing the first nodes is good, but is not adjusted to the borders.
Also, another good thing for the wish list could be a "Scale". You can see that the Transform tool from Photoshop is missed
