ok, this one has been sitting in the back of my mind for a while now. when i'm playing around in FF, it would be nice to NOT have to open paint shop pro or photoshop in order to downsize my saved image so i can post it on the forum(s). what i would love is a button down on the lower right or within the whole 'save image' complex, that would allow me to save or send to a user-specified location, either on my harddrive or to the web. it would have a browse button that i could use to select the location as a default (changeable, of course) and a save would automatically save my FF render/image to that location, without any other intermediary steps.

i do realize there are limits on the websites, such as FF's 250k limit, so perhaps a sizing feature, similar to psp's .jpg save option or photoshop's 'save to web' option could be added. in fact, it would be nice if the browsed location included an auto save to these specs feature as part of the preset for that browsed location. thus, i could have a 'save to location' preset for my harddrive that was .png with no file compression and save transparency, while my FF forum preset might have the preset of save to FF forum/user gallery/just some odd images/ file size no larger than 800 on a side and 250k or less. i'd just hit the preset i wanted and then hit save and voila, instant post! the user would make his own presets, for the most part. FF could include a few known presets like these, maybe also.

it just seems like a natural thing to me and would save quite a few steps for something i do so often.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
