Advanced filter authors now have solutions to handle any sized images....but beginners and novices will still have problems without gradient components reconfigured to automatically map any sized image input....

Suggest that gradient components be updated to automatically map any sized image and all affected filters in library be updated as well. With this program where it is right now, the square image limitation on gradient components is way overdue to be addressed and remedied, IMHO....

we do? so how about answering my question up in the filter creation forum on handling non-square images?
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Yes, snippet made for profile already....but not color grads. I have posted this issue here several times in the past.....and I'm doing it again. This issue is getting old.....and needs to be addressed and incorporated into components by FF....not just addressed by author snippets and scrippets, IMO.....
