FF obviously see it as the largest possible number of filters sells the program [ it's part of their sales pitch ] not the quality. |
Very true....and a huge mistake, IMO. Having a huge number of filters, with a majority of them being useless sub-optimal intro and clone variant filters, will end up having a negative effect upon how FF is viewed quality-wise....
I figure if FF is now going with a useless 30-day trial that is fostering a constant stream of sub-op filters with very few quality filter submissions....and most of the quality submissions they were getting were coming fr om veteran skilled authors who have dropping by the wayside....then FF might want to "re-evaluate" wh ere this is all going and start thinking about making some changes to turn this around towards getting quality/cutting-edge submissions, IMHO....

It must be working because there hasn't been a 50% discount for 2 days now |
I'm quite sure that you'll see a new discount real soon....FF never goes more than a couple weeks without one.....watch and see....sales will start taking a dip without one, they'll not like that, then they'll slap up another discount to bring sales up again. A sales practice that I don't particularly like seeing....misleading customers to think that it's a "one-time" discount that will expire and won't be back.....when in fact, a discount has almost been continuously running on this program....with FF even deliberately stopping the discount expiration day counter to keep discounts going longer.....
