ok, since i'm anticipating getting more controls on the gui and since someone else suggested being able to move that controls around on the gui, it also occurs to me that because not all controls are going to work all the time depending on how your swithces and controls are set up, it would be nice to have something to delineate or organize the various controls into groups of a given leg.

in other words, if you have a switch component branching out into 'legs' and there are controls on one leg and controls on another leg, only one leg can be active at a time and therefore, back in the gui, some controls wouldnt be active when a switch is set for one leg or another. therefore, it would be nice to have some sort of divider or spacer line to divide the various legs into groups to show which controls are on what leg. even better would be if when a switch is switched to one leg or another, that leg would then be either highlighted or the other legs would simply ghost.

Yes, the idea of disabling controls that don't affect the result is already on our long-term list (low priority).

As for the spacer/separator lines, they might be implemented in future releases. As usual, I'm quite reluctant about introducing complexity smile:D (I'd like the Controls tab to have only one separator, the one above the common controls like Size, Variation etc), but I think this can be reconsidered. Probably, this functionality could be added to the Order of Controls form.

'separator', that's what i was trying to say. thanks smile:)

yes, this wouldnt be totally necessary. if the non-active controls were all grouped and then got ghosted, it would be pretty obvious what was going on. i was just thinking that a very small, single, black line that could be moved would help a bit. if the bottom separator you mentioned is two lines and the others above (if used) were single lines, that would be fine.

it's not a biggy. very low priority. just happened to think of it and thought i'd mention it.

+1 for dividers. Also if they could have titles that would be even cooler.

currently, i've been making my own with checkbox or int sliders. i simply make the name of the slider '------------1', '------------2' and so on. you have to make each one a tiny bit different or the error checking when you submit rejects due to 'same component name'. but it works.

still, something more elegant would be useful.
