i am not sure this exists, but I havent found it in the nodes...

I see this as being very handy to not have to hit NEW image every time and we could automaitcally see how the filter would look on the exact size of the image.

so in the node you could have image size presets 1920x1080, 1280x1024, 800x600,, etc etc

for example, could be very useful for creating fast output of frames by changing the size and rendering, change to new size and render again....and so on.

go to the menu 'View' and down at the bottom of the list is a way to change your view of your current image to 'actual' or 'reduced'. just pick which you want.

not sure what you're referring to here. a node is one of those little dots on the components where you plug in the lines from other components. the components are those blocks listed in the 'components' list within the editor.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
