It would be nice if, when you dragged and dropped a new control onto a component, the control would take the value on the component instead of being the default value. For example, if I was setting the color on some Perlin noise, then decided I wanted to make it customizable, and I dragged and dropped the color control onto one of the Perlin noise color inputs, it would set the default color on the control to the value I had on the component instead of being bright pink. Same for sliders, etc.

Really good idea, I think this would be great default behaviour.

Definitely...just makes it a real pain in the arse to reset them all the time...and can screw things up somtimes if you don't remember the original value...
